Dear Sir

When I try to install Oracle Application server - Infrastructue services - OID and repository installation 10.1.2 on Windows 2000 advanced server loaded with JRE2 : 1.5

then the OUI start the Configuration assistance stage after the OUI write to me : installer invoke dcmctl updateconfig the the installer hangs.

for more than 7 hours and no changes occure

please advise what can I do to avoide the hang.

Have you verified all the System Requirements? If so, I would try to do a complete uninstall, reboot and then try the install again.
