Hi

I was try to install oracle 10g in my laptop which is running on Win2000+serv.pack4.

At the final staging I got an error as shown in attached screen shot. Then Oracle DB Console was not get started. But OracleService get started successfully.

I was try to start that service manually and failed.

Please help me to solve this issue.

1. Check emconfig.log file and post here emconfig.log file.
2. Recreate EM repository through EMCA utility.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I was just run the emca.bat. But no positive response received. Do you mean I have to do any configuration changes by this script? If yes, please explain it to me.

emConfig.log is attached.

1. on window command prompt.
cmd>set ORACLE_SID=sid
cmd>emctl stop dbconsole
cmd>emctl start dbconsole

If dbconsole service is not started then recreate EM repository.

2. on command prompt
cmd>set ORACLE_SID=sid
cmd>set ORACLE_HOME=OS path for oracle home
cmd>set PATH=OS path for oracle path variable.
cmd>emca -r

NOTE:use "-r" skip creation of repository schema

I have tryout that 1 and 2 steps. But it was not succeeded. I will go through your link and try to solve this issue.
