It seems Explain plan and analyse utility in oracle 9i is quite difficult to understand! Should i use GUI for making reports?

"analyse utility"? Which analyze utility?
Almost every GUI can display a plan in a graphical way but I don't think this makes easier to read if you don't know how to read it and what each line/node means.

"making reports"? What kind of report?

How about an example and a little more information. What tool are you currently using, what GUI are you refering to?
