can u share the steps to export /import using OEM connected as sysdba?

Maintenance_>Data Movement-> Move Row Data
Then option you pick and continue.

login to OEM. 
then go ===> Maintenance ===> Utilities 
                              1. Export to files
                              2. Import from files

I wonder mine is also in 10g but different lokk. Did you upgrade version or direct instal 10g?

as u said i followed u r steps

login to OEM.
then go ===> Maintenance ===> Utilities
1. Export to files
2. Import from files


Still i am receiving the following error.

Validation Error
Examine and correct the following errors, then retry the operation:
Role Error - Export and Import are not supported on 10g databases for users logged in with the SYSDBA role. Logout and login using a different role before trying again.


kindly suggest me other step or is this a bug!

@Irfan . So as suggested log on as a user who don't have sysdba privilege. By the way , it is an oracle bug export can be done by the user who has sysdba privilege.

It is internal bug no 6282278.

Actually i didn't read you post with carefully.
we can't export database in 10g through SYSDBA role.
this is not bug, this is restriction for using "sys" magic user.

Yes arju, but not through OEM, we can use sysdba user as sql command line in 10g.

It is not a bug, it is a restriction of use. OEM was explicitly coded with it.
The fact that a bug is logged does not mean this is a bug.
Many bug reports end with "Not a bug" status.

This said, if you want to use SYS to export just don't use OEM.
