Hi all ,
I am sobha, new to Oracle.
I need to clone a database from one machine to another.Oracle 10g is installed on both the machines(both are windows) and the database is already created on the target machine.
I have copied the DBF, CTL ,log files from source machine to target machine. Basically I have overwritten the earlier files on the target m/c.
If the DBF files path in both the machines is same, then I am able to access the m/c in target machine. But here the path is different in both machines, hence I couldnt access the database.
Pls advise.. It is very urgent for me.. I tried so many ways but none of them worked for me..
