Hello All,
I'm having a query regarding Apps DB administration.

Is it mandatory to shut down the application before applying
ATG RUP3 patches on Oracle Apps 11.5.10.2?
I know it's advisable to down the application but is it MANDATORY? Like, are there any chances of corrupting some files or likewise?
