Hi,
I unistalled the Oracle but still the services are there in Control Panel. When I am going to reinstall the Oracle I could not able to and previous database is coming.

I formated the disk too where Oracle is installed but still facing the problem.

Please suggest solution.

Oracle 9i
Windows XP

How are you creating the new database?

Do you want to remove all Oracle stuff from your server?
Or do you just want to reinstall the binaries?
Or something else?

thanks for concern but detail is that when i am inserting the CD to install ..

1. Message comes that one of the database "seclbsp" already installed so it asks to migrate the database i did that then also its not working.

In the mean time i installed D2K release 2.1 in C:\ORANT and i am trying to install the Oracle server in E:\ drive .

After instaling fully message comes

"Oracle not installed succesfully" .

--- Now i think to remove all the Oracle stuff(including D2K) and then reinstall everything again . suggest

i want to insatll Oracle Server, the problem is that while installing message comes one Database is already there so what to do .

HOw to remove the database 'seclbsp' which is already present in system .

Go to Start->All programs->Oracle installation products->oracle installer and deinstall all the products.Remove all the oracle folders.

You want to remove all oracle products.
Did you try deinstalling with OUI?

First try with OUI.
Then remove all Oracle directories including "%SystemDrive%\Program Files\Oracle"
The start regedit and remove:
- HKLM\Software\Oracle key
- HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Oracle* keys

Dear Michel,
Status is that I unistalled all the Oracle complonents. Removed all the regedit entries of Oracle.

Today after office I will install (Oracle, D2K) and let you you know.
