Dear all,

Please help me how to solve this problem. My server sometimes shutdowns without system log messages. Before the shutdown occurs Oracle Enterprise Manager wrote the following message.

Host CPU was a bottleneck and the instance was consuming 0% of the CPU. All wait times will be inflated by wait of CPU.

CPU model is: AMD Opteron (tm) Processor 885
It has 8 Processers.

May Oracle wrong configuration cause the server shutdown?

No, it is likely outside the DB as EM told you: 100% of CPU is used and DB is not using but waiting for it.

Whats other applications are running on the same server?How many? you may concerned if the problem is on other hand with your SA.
