Hi,

I am created master/detail form i want to do the transaction with automatically with using large queries, So i need to know how the enter query/execute query will work at the run time of the form.

I want forms as in enter query mode when user enter some particular key (eg: F4) then execute with the other key value (eg : ctrl+F9) with the user entered valid data in any of the field in the form.

Can any one help me.

Cheers
Ashok

What are "large queries"?

What is this? Sounds like WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM trigger:

Now, do you have a problem, or do you expect to have a problem? Basically, a default master-detail forms does everything like a charm - it doesn't require any further coding. So ... could you, please, explain it a little bit more?

To validate an item that you use in a query you have to set 'Fire in Enter-Query Mode' to 'Yes' for the 'when-validate-item' trigger on that item.
