Hi All,

I wanted to know that when an UPDATE ,INSERT or DELETE statement is fired , how the data flows in the SGA.ie in the cache buffer, redo log buffer etc......

Can some one help me in brief.

anyhow to make our lives easier, oracle has documented everything.
Please refer to any documentation site ( technet.oracle.com/docs or tahiti.oracle.com).
have a look in oracle server concepts manual.
there are a section dedicated for your question
