When I open the DFF Screen, a default value is displayed for an attribute. But when I query the corresponding attribute in the table, I couldn't find the value been stored in DB Table.

Why is this behaviour??

If I try to change the DFF Value and save it after click 'OK', the same is reflected in the DB Table.

fyi...
The DFF Column is associted with an Independent value set, and a SQL Query is used to pick a default value for the DFF Field.
