Dear All,

Can you please show me how to make the Image_Zoom procedure works with the zoom_type to be SELECTION_RECTANGLE??
I tried a lot but it gives me you must select the area to be zoomed. Can you give me a link to an example, I searched on the web but without results.

What software are you running? What version? Please post a screen shot of the environment about which you are referring and please do it as a JPG file.

Thank you David for your fast reply,

I'm using oracle 9i developer. and I have a form with an Image box and a zoom button. I want when I click on the image I draw a rectangle and then click on the zoom button to enlarge the selected area.

Is this a student exercise that has been done successfully by previous students or something that you have just thought of yourself and with which you want to experiment?

No it is part of a research project where we need to zoom an Image , we did the scale factor but I need to know how does the rectangle works?
No I got the zoom type from the help in forms developer and I need to try it if is it really woking or not?

From which application did you get this snapshot. It doesn't look like an Oracle supplied form.
