When monitoring refresh-jobs I noticed that on the master-site the corresponding session/query uses a hint: SELECT /*+ OPAQUE_TRANSFORM */

To my surprise I didn't find anything in Oracle's doc nor on metalink about this hint.

Anyone else noticed this hint?
Anyone else who knows - or has a good guess - more about this hint?

Just to be sure we can rule out the hint as a performance player?
