Hello,

Is it possible to convert the existing oracle database(9i/10g) into a text file or csv file and vice versa. If so, what is the procedure? Also, I want to know whether this newly created text file can be read on normal office PC on windows. Is there any specified procedure to open the converted text file in windows environment?

I would be very thankful if I can get the required details.

Yes, either format.

What ever you write in the procedure.

Likely NOT the case because the file would be generated on the DB server system.

Thank you for responding. Will you be able to give me some pointers regarding what to write in the procedure. I am new to this and any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks a lot!
