Our users are experiencing intermittent locking up or freezing of a form application running inside the Internet Explorer browser when keying text or editing in a text field. The text field is a non-database item text field. The users are keying when suddenly the Oracle Forms application no longer responds. They are able to perform other functions on their workstation such as email or Microsoft Word, for example. The Oracle Form is unresponsive. If the application is closed and restarted we are unable to reproduce the problem, even if the user repeats what they were just keying. The failures occur at different times, on different workstations, with various users. Typically 20 users or so running the application each day. Average 2-5 failures a week. Any idea would be greatly appreciate.
