Hello All,

I am a real newbie, so please be kind. I am working in App Designer in Peoplesoft and I have added a field to a table/record. My assumption is that in order to make use/reference that new field, I need to rebuild the table.

My question is, if I rebuild the table, will I clear the existing data in the table? Is there a way to avoid clearing the data while rebuilding the record/table?

You add that field in that record and then alter that record.That will be fine.If you rebuild the existing record,you will lose the data.
