Hi,

We're in the process of converting 6i forms to 10g. Certain fmbs have about 8 tab pages with more than 150 fields, total file size exceeding 5700 KB.

These 10g converted files sometimes raises the error: FRM-92100:Your connection to the server was interrupted. This may be the result of a network error, or a failure on the server. You will need to reestablish your session.

It would be a great help if some one could help us to find the cause of the error...

Rgds
Indu

How big did you make your swap space and how much free space do you have on the hard-drive that holds the directory specified in your 'TMP' and 'TEMP' environment settings?

It's as follows:

The Application server has 1GB memory; page file size is 2GB & TMP is 1GB. The database server has 512MB RAM, swap space of 1GB & /tmp is 2GB. Simulating the samething on another server with 4GB RAM, 8GB Swap, 2GB TMP also didn't solve the problem.

Could this error occur due to any issue with the fmb?

Does the application run succesfully through the Developer Server? Does the Application Server use the same operating system as the Developer Server? Did you open ALL the libraries and forms in the DS and do a Ctrl-Shft-K, then Ctrl-T before saving them and moving the PLL and FMB files to the AS?

The error is raised only at certain instances. It sometimes runs without this error in both DS and AS. (reason why my reply was also delayed)
The OS s used are :
Application server - window 2003 server edition
Local machine - XP
DB server - LINUX AS3
Yes. we do compile all libraries and forms in the DS using the said keys.
The same error just occurred.
