I have installed Oracle Forms 9iDS on my pc.
I was trying to run the Forms application from within the Forms Builder on the local machine on Internet Explorer.
But the browser takes me to mywebsearch search page.
Can anyone help to fix this problem.
Thanks.

But the browser takes me to mywebsearch search page.

Sounds like you could use Ad-Aware, Spybot and similar products. Or, if possible, uninstall "mywebsearch".

Thanks for the reply.
Yes I do run the forms application directly from the forms builder and I did run the application server. My URL is like (for the local m/c):
http://127.0.0.1:8888/forms90/f90servlet?config=myapp

Reverse the installation process.

Check
  1. Start - Programs - Mywebsearch - Uninstall
  2. Control panel - Add or Remove programs - Mywebsearch - Remove
I'm sorry, but I really don't know how to uninstall this specific product.

I uninstalled the mywebsearch program.
And now when I run the forms application dialog box comes up with message
Can not find ' http://akshat:8888/forms90/f90servelet?form=c:\preeti\1Z0-141\forms\customers.fmx&userid=SCOTT\TIGER@dba&buffer_records=NO&am p;
array=YES&query_only=NO&quiet=No&RENDER=YES"

And blank page opens up in IE.I also did run the application server.

Please suggest where it do you think its going wrong.

Thanks,

Does form 'customers.fmx' exists in 'c:\preeti\1Z0-141\forms\' directory?

Is this part correct: 'akshat:8888'? Is it a localhost?
Did you try with 'localhost' instead of 'akshat' or even 127.0.0.1? Is port number '8888' correct?

In Internet Explorer go to Tools > Internet Options > Connections / LAN Settings and set 'Bypass Proxy server for local addresses' to 'checked'.

Then go to the 'Advanced' settings on the page I specified previously and add your address to the 'Exceptions' list.

Where did the ';' come from in your URL?

Can you run the 'test' form?
