Hi,
I have a live database running on SUN Solaris 8 and oracle database 9. The datafiles reside on raw disks. I want to replace the server, install solaris 10 and oracle 10g database.
My question is how can i migrate the datafiles from r/disks to f/system.
I have created a database template with dbca on the new server from the old one.
Unfortunately I can't bring the live data with dbca.
Also, if I use import/export utility, the whole database is not backed up.
