Try calling it in the 'on-logon' trigger.

Azam Khan, I've seen that you quite often "forget" to read other people's messages and, basically, copy answers which have already been given. Would you, please, consider to change this behaviour?

What has answering emails got to do with not reading new entries on a thread before posting?

All ON triggers are made to by pass the Oracle process Like ON-KEY-COMMIT if you place this trigger then you trigger will fire not the commit statement by the form.

So of course if you use ON-LOGON trigger it will by pass the FORM'S default behaviour.
