Hi,
we are in the process of implementing an EBusiness suite based application. One of the issues which has cropped up, is keeping the BR100 document in sync with the application configuration.
We have implemented good practices to ensure that the configuration is documented. However I would be grateful to share anybodys experience of any tools they have used to ensure compliance in this area.
Thanks very much.

I am not aware of any tools that will allow you to ensure that the configuration and the configuration documents are completely in sync. The application keeps changing and any third-party tool that create the configuration documents based on the configuration will be completely up-to-date.
There is still something that can be done. By having different people and groups of people developing the next release and migrating the configuration will help in making sure that the documentation is current as only what is in the documents will be migrated.
There are however some tools that might be useful. iSetup from Oracle does offer some reporting capability as well its somewhat limited functionality for migrating configuration.
In addition, if you have a lot of documentation, it might be worthwhile to develop some reports on your own for common setup such as flexfields etc.
