I have a problem in using EXECUTE_QUERY in KEY-EXEQRY in forms 10g instead of fetching one record for the passed criteria it fetches all the records.

any help would be much appreciated..

What do you call "the passed criteria" and how do you set it?

passed criteria here means like if i have a field emp no and ename
and i am passing Ename as SMITh in Enter-query mode so in theory it should query all the records
with the EName - 'SMITH' ,
but my problem is that its querying all the records which exists in EMP table .

Please post the code you have in your 'pre-query', 'key-entqry' and 'key-exeqry' triggers.
