hi all,
when i am trying to execute the fallowing procedure in TOAD i am getting the error like "TOAD error: 'IN' is not a valid integer value"

if i executed in a sql* plus it is working for me what is the problem with toad there is any special setting or ways to excute that.

thanks.

IN TOAD:

create or replace procedure raisesal
(id in employees.employee_id%type,percent in number) is
begin
update empmadhu
set salary = salary *(1 + percent /100)
where employee_id = id;
end raisesal;

TOAD error:'IN' is not a valid integer value.

IN SQL*plus:

SQL> create or replace procedure raisesal
2 (id in employees.employee_id%type,percent in number) is
3 begin
4 update empmadhu
5 set salary = salary *(1 + percent /100)
6 where employee_id = id;
7 end raisesal;
8 /

Procedure created.

Your code, slightly modified to compile in Scott's schema, works fine in TOAD 8.6.1.0. Which version of TOAD do you use?
