I created a physical standby database 10.2.0.3 which is a RAC standby from a primary standby. I am using ASM/OMF for filenames.
I am getting an ORA 16009 error when I run the DG diagnostic script on standby. This is for log_archive_dest_2.
ORA-16009: remote archive log destination must be a STANDBY
In order to fix the problem, I created a new standby controlfile on a filesytem and used it to mount the standby.
Now I get error ORA 16766 redo unexpectedly offline error.
I tried to restart the redo apply.
Also since I have RAC standby, can anyone tell me how to migrate the controlfile on filesystem to ASM/OMF. My 2nd standby instance of course cannot mount unless I have 2 control files in ASM on +DATA and +FRA locations.
Please help.
