Database: Oracle 10.2.01
Suse: 10.1 (using VMware 5)
The installation works just fine, until I come to the Database Configuration Assistans.
Oracle Net Configuration Assistans works fine.
But the Database Configuration Assistans dont. Here are the errors I get:
ORA-00119: invalid specification for system parameter LOCAL-LISTNER
ORA-00130: invalid listener address '(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=suse10.krossarenvnet.lundmarkarna.se)(PORT=null))'
ORA-01078: failure in processing system parameters
I choose ignore, then I get another error:
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
I can of course ignore the recommended tests, but I think that one is quite important (Database Configuration Assistans).
So, how do I fix all this? 
And, YES, Im a NEWBIE!
