Is it possible to do a trigger-like comparison in the sql coding of a Descriptive Flex Field (DFF) to avoid a customization?
What I want to do is take the po_vendors table attribute1 field, that has been set up in Oracle Apps as a Y or N DFF, and use the DFF's SQL coding to prevent the user from updating the po_vendor block attribute1 value in an Oracle apps form from an existing attribute1 value of N to Y. The user would be allowed to switch from Y to N and create new records with either Y or N in the field.
Thank-you
Bob H
