My oracle is istalled on HP-UX operation and I have installed one client tool to monitor the oracle server. Now I wish to export database with datapump and *.dmp file is on the client machine (not on server). Can you tell me what I should do to obtain my purpose???

Thanks in advance!!!

What most professional & self sufficient folks would do is Read The Fine Utilities Manual found at:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14215/toc.htm
which contains complete description of how to use DATAPUMP.
Why is RTFM something you chose NOT do to?
