Our client use several oracle RDBMS version on various platform.
(8i->10g)

Our software patch always contain a small .dmp file.
I make it in Oracle8i Enterprise Edition Release 8.1.7.4.1

In Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.2.0,
the import is succesfull(i checked the data of tables), but after the importing process the imp.exe not return to the operating system.

It is wait for ever.....

What is my fault?

Thanks,
Zoltán Patalenszki

Could you copy the last few lines of the IMP session and paste it here (so that we could see it)?

Hi!

I imported a smaller table, the symptom is the same.

I attached the screen of the import process.
It's hungarian version, but i hope it's not problem.

In the server side the events is "SQL*Net more data from client",
and the last statement is "ALTER SESSION SET EVENTS '28657 TRACE NAME CONTEXT FOREVER, LEVEL 1'"

Thanks,

Could be some problem with OS.You should contact support.
