Distribution set allows us to distribute the expense account amount across various cost centres(departments),
Example: Rent for one company is shared by various departments
we now that how much space(sq feets) accupied by each department,
usig this the amonts can be easily alloted to various department heads,
there are two types of distribution sets,
Full distribution set: where in we know the percentage or amount utilised by each department,
Skeleton distribution set: where in we know the deparments alone, but dont know the units or amounts or percentage,
once you attach your distribution set no need to give the account code combination in the distribution level,
you can attach distribution set in suppier level suppliet site level,

Yeah,
it's a quick approach to maintain distribution in invoices, expense reports, etc..
