Position: Oracle Portal Junior Developer (Oracle Portal Application Development)
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Maryland
General Experience:
Candidates must possess four or more years of web development experience with more than 3 years of Oracle Portal technology, development, general Oracle database, Portal 10g PL/SQL API, knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, administrate users and user groups in OID.
Requirements:
§ 3+ years Oracle Portal 10g development experience (Portal Forms, Portal Reports, Page Groups, Portal Pages, DB Providers, DB Providers, OID and SSO)
§ 3+ years of Java development experience with experience in developing Java Portlets for Portal 10g.
§ Ability to work independently.
§ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Duties:
§ Responsible for the creating, enhancing and maintaining Oracle Portal 10g application.
§ Experience in performing Oracle Portal 10g upgrades and application changes for upgrades
§ Back up and Restore (export/import) of Portal Transport Sets.
§ Create and edit Portal PL/SQL code to customize Portal Forms and Portal Reports to meet the client requirements
§ Create and maintain technical system documentation.
§ Participate in design and code reviews.
§ Communicate issues and progress to project manager.
