We use the XML publisher front end to define XML reports and we use the XML publisher plugin for MS Word to work with the template,
When defining the report through the XML web front end, we face a problem with variables.
when we include a parameter of type 'date' then the report does not generate and the system gives a message that 'the report cannot be rendered'
however when we change the parameter type to 'string' then the report runs fine.
Searched metalink and OTN for solution for this but could not find any answers. Can anyone help..
This is urgent!!!!
