We have a Custom logon form for the application. Application users is same as the database users. In the custom logon screen user enters the user name and password and then click the OK button, I wrote the code in the (OK) when_button_pressed trigger like If the user password is expired (trap the ORA-error) i am calling Oracle Forms logon built in to change the user password. Here user can able to change the password except in the case of password is too short like instead of 8 charcters gives < 8 charcters (we set some profile options) and then I am getting the FRM-92101 error message. I am not able to trap or debug at the moment.

Note: I need to have to user Oracle logon built-in only becos while the user password expired user dont have a connection with the database to change the password. Here application users dont have the privilege to do alter user ...etc..

User trying to change the password with the expired password in
our GUI Application the following error message occurs. This message is coming
some users group only.

When the user password is expired i am calling the Oracle Forms logon builtin to change the password. After entering the old password, new password, retype password and button OK pressing this FRM-92102 error is coming.

This message is not coming for every user. It is coming some group of users only.

FRM-92102: A network error has occurred. The forms client has attempted to
reestablish its connection to the server 5 time (s) without
success. Please check the network connection and try again
later
