We are planning to consider forms 10g with oracle 10g in solaris.I coudn't find much information about using 10g forms. Is there any particular risk in going ahead with this. And also I am new to oracle forms.Could you please suggest any books for forms 10g.

I don't believe there are any more risks going ahead with Oracle 10g and Forms 10g than with any other combination of database and software with the one exception that Forms is a product based on a block mode philosophy meaning that it is not a PC-weenie, does something every-time you enter a keystroke. It is block mode meaning that it waits for you to press the 'enter' key or a function key before doing most of its processing, especially its database processing. If you want a 'new age' Java character-by-character behaviour then Forms is NOT the one for you.
