I am new to Oracle Forms and extremely confused as to its setup. I have installed only the developer suite available as a free download in the oracle website. I hope only that is enough. If so how do I proceed from here.
*I know how to open forms. If my tutorial is right I have to connect to the database as a first step by File->Connect. It asks for my username and password and database values which I have no clue to.
*As to setting up a database if required I am completely ignorant as to how to proceed.
I hope someone will be able to help out with this problem

You'll have to install a database too; Express Edition is a free version. Download it from the same place you used to download the Developer Suite.
There is an installation guide which you might read, or just run Universal Installer and follow its "Next >" buttons.
Once you have the database and the Developer Suite, you'll be able to write forms.
