Running Application in 10g [message #242564]

Hii All

I have an application developed by using oracle Developer 10g
i made a shortcut on my desktop to run this application

and i don't know how to run the application from the shortcut
i put the path live that

d:\oracle\oradev10g\bin\frmsweb.exe

please help me
i want run my application independent of form builder 10g as i run the application from the form builder 10g

I might be wrong, but - as far as I can tell, from 9i onwards Forms are web-based and are to be run through web browser. Client-server forms were available in 6i.

In other words, you can not run 10g form using the desktop shortcut icon (unless it is a shortcut to a web browser whose default home page is your form).

so how can i run the application independent from form builder 10g

i took the address in the address bar after running the application from form builder and paste it in a new browser and it doesnot work
i don't why??

Because you need to install an Application Server (Forms and Reports services).
