thanks a lot for the link,
it is so useful ...
i follow the instructions and made all the mentioned requirements,
then install !!! but unfortunately an error occurred !
i downloaded oracle db 10g form oracle website (10202_database_solx86.zip)
and unzipped this file using winrar on wiondows
and made a CD
i tried to run the (runinsta) file from the CD as i was logged as oracle user on solaris10
Checking installer erquirments
temp space ---> passed
swap space ---> passed
monitor ---> passed
All requirements met
BUT then
ERROR in writing to directory /tmp/orainstall2007-05-30-10PM,
please insure this directory is writable and has at least 69 MB of disk space.
Although
/tmp has 2.0GB free space
and
/tmp permission is set to rwx-rwx-rwx !!!
what is the problem !!!!
please help
