I am getting this error: Tue May 29 10:47:19 2007
alter database mount

Is this also what occurred earlier on the same db

It seems you have a problem with your disk.
Unfortunatly you put all your control files on the same disk and they seem all corrupted.
Hope you have a backup.

Rename the current control files.
Copy the backup onto the current ones.
Start a recovery "using backup control file".

i Had the same problem on solaris 64bit..oracle 10.2.0.3

when i upgraded oracle 10.1 to 10.2 .when i wannted to craete database it give me the same error.but after aplly patch for veritas it solve automatically.check ur patches list.
