Supply the Host (as in OS) login credentials, not the db username, password.

If you are on Windows, the userId that you plan to use, give it the privilege, "Logon as batch job". Your Windows admin can help or search for "User Rights" on Windows Help.

So, on a Win 2003 server, you may have something like,
Administrative Tools -->
Local Security Policy -->
User Rights Assignments -->
Double click "Logon as batch job" and add that user.

AFAIK i don't think there is any parameter we need to set before login OS usr/pwd.

we have to just grant "LOGON AS BATCH JOB" privs to OS USER.

Taj

Hi,

>>Whats the Host Credentials?

IT's nothing Operating System user name and password. You can configure the following way

start -> run -> type "secpol.msc /s" -> Choose local policy -> Log as on patch job -> add your os user.

Thanks
