Please tell me what is this BPEL is all about in Fusion.

what are the prerequisties to learn them and the source where we can get the respective software and the documentation related to it.

After reading this, you could go to OTN (Oracle Technology Network) at http://www.oracle.com/technology/index.html and search for BPEL and you will find hundreds of documents, at least one of which should help you.
