Can someone explain to me how do I make the output of FSG to XML not text. I want to create a template that will be used for output that will be XML.

Take a look at the FSG XML Publisher - see Note:370358.1
And, no, I have not used it and, no, I don't know how it works and, no, I can't answer any questions or offer advice about it. I just took 2 minutes to log onto MetaLink and did a search for you, using the keywords "FSG Output XML".
 Try it sometime.
