Hello friends,
I am using Oracle 9i and want to use dbstart. While reading script of dbstart, I found below mentioned line.
"Database \"${ORACLE_SID}\" warm started."
I want to ask that What do oracle mean by "warm" start?

Hi,
Where you get this script. there is nothing special and related to oracle.
it is user mention line in script.
"Database ORACLE_SID warm started"
