LIST OF VALUES:

Used to display list of values for more than one item at a time.But, it cannot hold list of values. It makes use of recordgroup for list of value. LOV is actually used only to query the data but not for transactions.

VALUE SETS:
Value sets will do the validations for the parameters during the execution of a concurrent program. we have 8 value set types. Value set name is case sensitive.
1. Dependent
2. Independent
3. None
4. Pair
5. Special
6. Table
7. Translatable Independent
8. Translatable Dependent
