Hi guys,
All the patching info that I have read says to backup the system first before appling patches..
Please how do you go about doing this?
What are the exact steps? please just want to be complet sure on this.

Ever tried cloning before? If you do you might want to use the same procedure so if ever things go wrong you could just configure the precloned instance..
or better but time consuming is to create a clone and test the patch.
