BOM and Routing Created [message #235075]

Hello Friends,

Could someone tell me when do we get the Status 'BOM and Routing Created' on a Sales Order line.

Hi,

we get the status after running "AutoCreate Configuration Items"

These are used in the ATO Item model.

1) The ATO item is entered in the line, and Configure the ATO model .

The line status is in "booked " stage

2) Create the confugiration end items by running

Then AutoCreate Configuration Items"

The line status is in "BOM and Routing Created "

Hi Vinod,

Thanks for the reply,but this is what happening in my Instance.

1 Order an ATO Model
2 Click on Configurator
3 Select the necessary options
4 come back and book the Order
5 Progress the ATO Model Line and this results in a configurated Item getting created and Ordered on the Sales order
6 The Line status is showing as 'Supply Eligible'.
7 Now progress the above line and this results in creation of workorder(Since the Model is 'MAKE' type) and status changed to 'Production Open'.

The status 'BOM and Routing Created' is not seen.

Please comment

Hi,

There are two ways to look into this

I)After the order has been progressed to supply eligible,
the next would be is to release and completed the job thru WIP.

a)After the program AutoCreate Final Assembly Orders is run, it generates the Job number.

b) This job number is used in WIP to release and complete the job .

c) After completion of the job in WIP, these can be Pick released and ship confirm

II) According to metalink note Note:181940.1, Apply patch 2142680
