hi experts,
i have just installed oracle 9i developer suite..
when i opened forms builder and tried to connect to the database..
i am getting the following error,

ORA-12154:TNS:could not resolve service name

when i give tnsping datbasename in command prompt i am getting the following error..

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>tnsping sit

Used parameter files:
C:\OraHome1\network\admin\sqlnet.ora

TNS-03505: Failed to resolve name

sit is my database name
please help me out to solve this problem ..

Dear ... add your host name and give it any service name in the tnsname.ora file where you have installed your forms if you are connecting through forms or in database folder if you are connecting through SQL
