Hi all,

I just browse through this forum, but I do not found any hint to help me on this problem.

I just exported a Database (9.2.0.6) from one Server and try to import it on user levelon a second Server also 9.2.0.6.

Import brings me
IMP-00058: ORACLE error 1882 encountered
ORA-01882: timezone region not found
IMP-00009: abnormal end of export file
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully

Export :
JServer Release 9.2.0.6.0 - Production
Export done in WE8ISO8859P1 character set and AL16UTF16 NCHAR character set

Import:
JServer Release 9.2.0.6.0 - Production
Export file created by EXPORT:V09.02.00 via conventional path
import done in WE8ISO8859P1 character set and AL16UTF16 NCHAR character set

so the Char-sets seems to be equal

Any quick help is welcome
regards
Uwe

May be the file is corrupted.
Did you transfer the file from machine-to-machine?
Did you set proper FTP options?
Can you reproduce the case (taking a new export and doing it again?)
