I wrote a function in a form and when I tried to call it in a select statement I got an error : this function cannot be used in select statement...
But If I make this function a DB function the problem will be solved, but the I need the function to be local in the form not in the DB...any ideas?

Thanks for all,
Lama

Be specific and paste code.
Nobody can answer without looking at the code.

ORA error message code would be helpful too; don't interpret the error using your own words as it is not English literature forum.
