How to create a welcome data block or home data block with just text words or buttons. If i use data block wizard, it always ask me to choose table info.

Don't use a wizard. Create a control block manually.

You can always use 'dual' and then change the database property after the block has been created.

when u create the block use yhe option create a data block manually and the go to the block properties (press F4 or double click on the block) and put the property DATA BASE BLOCK to No, good luck
