look into your login.sql or glogin.sql file.
May be there are some unwanted entries.

Hi all

I am suppose to do this.
You must create an init.ora with the naming convention of init<SID>.ora in the ORACLE_HOME\database
directory of the Oracle installation. The init.ora file is referenced in the following two places during the
database creation process:
• UsingtheORADIM command to create the Windows Service
• Executing the CREATEDB10.SQL script

However, I login to sqlplus and when they show
sql>oradim(this is what I typed)
and it gave me 'SP2-0042: unknown command "oradim" - rest of line ignored.'

Can someone please guide me. Thanks.

db_name='DB10'

above is the only required line in initDB10.ora file

oradim is NOT a SQL*Plus command, it is an OS level one.
