Hi, me again, this time I'm getting a message box popping up in when I load a master-detail form. It happens when I perform a query on it. The Box pops up with a red bell on it and the message 'Please acknowledge message'. The first message box gives a FRM-42401:Performing program trigger ON-CLEAR-DETAILS on form. It then pops up again with the message box and another FRM-42401:Performing program trigger ON-POPULATE-DETAILS onblock DEPT. (Yes, I'm using the good old DEPT/EMP tables in demobld). Trouble is this only happens on a few of our machines no matter who is logged on. I know about setting message levels and I've tried using them at level 25 to try to get rid of the annoying pop up box but nothing worked.
It's entirely possible it's being caused by a Windows update or it's something to do with the Operating system and not an Oracle error at all so if anyone has seen this happen or knows a way around it I'd be grateful.

Hi, yet again it's down to being given duff information. After checking the machines with the errors for myself I found that indeed the Debugging was switched on. Turning it off solved the problem.
I now don't trust anything I'm told by students, especially at assignment time.
Once again thanks for your help and I'll try to keep my posts to sensible ones from now on.
